Oral B Ortho Essentials Program
Maintaining good oral hygiene is an essential aspect of orthodontic care. Failure to take care of your teeth during treatment can result in unsightly white spots or cavities. We want to do everything we can to help our patients keep their teeth healthy during treatment. That is why we partnered up with Crest and Oral B to provide our patients with the Oral B Ortho Essentials program.
The first and best part of the program is that all patients receive a free high quality Oral B electronic toothbrush at the start of their treatment. This brush has a Smart Guide monitor with it that shows you where to brush, how long to brush, and whether or not you are using the proper amount of pressure.
The next aspect of this program is a grading system that we use to evaluate how well our patients are brushing and flossing. Patients receive a score every time they come in to the office. It is a great way to let both patients and their parents know how they are doing and what they can do to improve.
We like it when our patients maintain proper oral hygiene and because of that we want to reward them for their efforts. Good scores at appointments are rewarded with raffle tickets for entry into regular drawings for prizes such as Ipods, Kings Island passes, gift certificates, or movie passes.
